About this policy

This policy describes Photo Clean for iOS. Updated 6 October 2026. The operator is Mersas Grup Insaat Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Sirketi.

Photos and on-device analysis

With your permission, Photo Clean reads selected photos or your library and processes identifiers, dates, dimensions, size estimates, thumbnails, file hashes, similarity features and quality scores on your device. Photos, videos and analysis features are not sent to our servers, Google advertising or RevenueCat. Local records support resuming scans and reviewing suggestions.

Deletion, compression and contacts

Scanning never deletes media. Deletion requires your review and confirmation and uses Apple PhotoKit. Deleted media may remain in Recently Deleted. When iCloud Photos is enabled, deletion also syncs to other devices using the same Apple account. Compression creates a new video copy; the original remains. If you use the contacts feature, contact details are processed locally with permission and a preview before changes.

Advertising and tracking

Google Mobile Ads and its consent service can process IP addresses, device and advertising identifiers, ad interactions and diagnostics to provide, measure and protect advertising. Tracking authorization and regional consent determine permitted personalization. Refusing tracking does not remove earned scan rewards. You can change tracking in iOS Settings and regional ad privacy choices in the app.

Purchases

Apple processes payment. RevenueCat processes purchase/transaction information and an anonymous app customer identifier to validate subscriptions, provide entitlement access and restore purchases. We do not receive your full payment card details.

Notifications, ratings and local analytics

Weekly reminders are optional local notifications, without a push server or token. You can disable them in the app or iOS Settings. Optional usage counters stay in local storage. A one-time analysis gift is independent of rating, notification, tracking and purchase decisions. StoreKit controls whether its review prompt appears and does not report your rating to the app.

Retention and your controls

Local scan records, decisions, preferences, history and reward receipts remain on your device until cleared or removed with the app; reward receipts can be retained by the local clear-data action to prevent duplicate grants. Clearing app data does not delete Photos or Contacts or cancel a subscription. Apple, Google and RevenueCat retain service records under their own policies. Their processing can involve other countries. Use the app privacy choices, iOS permissions and provider rights channels.

Children and policy changes

The app is not designed for children. Changes to this policy will be published here with an updated date.
